Showdown Stage Academy Takes Us To Not Entirely Ancient Greece
Ancient Greece gave us the dawn of civilization, the birth of modern theater, and the classic heroic tale of the Golden Fleece….
…And then we had to go and funk it all up.
Industry professionals lead Santa Clarita teens to another triumphant stage production. This time the group who most recently entertained us with THE BROTHERS GRIMM OUT OF ORDER at the local REPERTORY EAST PLAYHOUSE will be presenting us with THE ARGONAUTS at THE HUB THEATER in NoHo. This talented Santa Clarita group has been carpooling down to their new location for rehearsals and it is well worth it for you to check out their latest endeavor in their new location.

An original musical by Cindy Marcus and Flip Kobler who wrote ?¢‚Ǩ?ìLion King II?¢‚Ǩ¬ù and ?¢‚Ǩ?ìBeauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas,?¢‚Ǩ¬ù and Dennis Poore who composed the music for ?¢‚Ǩ?ìEarth Girls Are Easy?¢‚Ǩ¬ù. These Santa Clarita locals, wanted to start a teen repertory company, so they went out and did it. The teens and the audience both benefit from their endeavor. Talented SCV teenagers took part in every aspect of this thoroughly entertaining stage production presented by The Showdown Stage Company.
